Brand & Design Leadership: Achieved an earnings influx at Olive AI of over $11M in new opportunities and encouraged a widespread impact on $150M in top-line revenue by creating a full-funnel customer experience by leading and coordinating and leading digital strategy, creative, and marketing teams with close collaborating with sales-enablement teams, and product marketers, exceeding projected company targets with a YoY surge in site traffic by 156%.

Global Research & UX Product Design: Assembled and led a research and design teams to create global employee experiences at Google, accomplishing the improvement and automation of over 40 core operations saving an enormous 200K employee-hours across 52 countries, while shipping integrated software and hardware products that gained a 12-point increase in CSAT scores.

Reporting to both the CPO and CMO, established best-practices for design processes while leading the vision for customer experience design, boosting brand visibility and influence. Fostered successful cooperation among product, design, and sales teams, utilizing data to determine effective strategies and team development. Supervised a high-performing team of design professionals, nurturing teamwork, maintaining efficient project execution, and promoting professional development.

  • Recognized from Fast Company as one of 2022's World's Most Innovative Companies, securing fourth place in the health category through conducting executive leadership participation and constructing company-wide research programs to achieve brand positioning.

  • Teamed up with eight creatives and email marketing comrades to devise and implement email communication strategies, achieving open rates of 23.7%

  • Formulated integrated marketing strategies encompassing event marketing, geo-targeted digital, OOH, and social media campaigns, which elevated unaided brand awareness by 15% in targeted markets. 

  • Channeled investment for recruiting and nurturing over 20 direct reports in an all-remote working environment, building a supportive and challenging community that resulted in 40% of the team receiving promotions in 2022.

Creative/Design Director & Partner Apprentice, 2016 – 2021.

IBM iX, IBM’s global design consultancy – Account lead for Digital Experience engagements, recruited, staffed, led and mentored teams of designers, content creators, project managers, and consultants and partnered with external agencies to ensure consistent and high-quality deliverables within project timelines. Implemented quality control processes , team performance and mentoring to ensure design consistency and adherence to brand standards across global platforms and channels. Managed creative and opex budgets, optimizing resource allocation and negotiating vendor contracts to maximize the team's impact while staying within financial constraints.

  • Part of a leadership team that accomplished Google's preferred vendor status, and increased service revenues by +700% in two years. 

  • Recruited, onboarded, and managed a team of 35 FTE and contract members and navigated global experiences through extensive research, design sprints, and collaboration with engineering and business leaders, resulting in a 12-point growth in CSAT scores to 84%.

  • Drove UX and Service design and change management projects that automated over 40 operational processes, saving Google 200K/year employee hours.

Supervised and inspired a creative team of specialists, promoting a cooperative atmosphere and punctual delivery of groundbreaking campaigns.

  • Construct a pioneering digitally led brand--ColorSnap--for The Sherwin-Williams Co., along with a top-rated mobile experience, hailed "App of the Decade" by AdAge. 

  • Ensured the brand's comprehensive marketing strategy directed 52% of website visitors towards a purchase from a Sherwin-Williams outlet within two weeks of initial brand interaction.

Are you still reading? That’s impressive. This list was just the major points. Resume stuff. Within all those lines, I’ve built a range of teams that have launched global employee experiences for hundreds of thousands of humans in over 50 countries, commerce websites for explosive manufactures and designed graphics on everything from rock & roll records to e-commerce sites that sell explosives. My most meaningful accomplishment is having managed, supported, taught and trained over 500 designers, creatives, students and marketers.
